What changes from one part of the metro to another

The chemistry of a floor coating does not care what city it is in, but almost everything around it does. Building age determines whether there is a vapor barrier under the slab. Local industry determines what gets spilled. Operating pattern determines whether the work can happen in one stretch or has to be phased across months.

Those three variables split the Toledo metro fairly cleanly. The older industrial core, running from North Toledo through the river corridor and out into Oregon, is characterised by slabs poured before vapor barriers were standard and decades of absorbed process chemistry. Assessment matters more here than anywhere else, because what is in the concrete is rarely visible from above.

The logistics corridor, covering Holland, Rossford and much of Maumee, is newer and more uniform. Slabs are generally sound and flat, the wear is concentrated in predictable places, and the constraint is almost always operational rather than technical: these buildings do not stop, so the floor gets phased.

The suburban commercial ring through Sylvania, Perrysburg, Waterville and Whitehouse is newer again and dominated by occupied buildings with customers or patients in them. Odor, noise and cure time drive system selection here far more than durability does.

Coverage and response

Site visits across the metro are typically arranged within a few business days. Where a floor failure is actively disrupting production or creating a safety problem, that moves up. Commercial and industrial buildings only; we do not handle residential garage floors.
